The Zerorez Story began in Texas in 2000. The founders managed 3,000 apartment units and were frustrated with their carpet cleaning challenges. As a result, they began looking for better cleaning solutions but found that the carpet-cleaning industry had cleaned the same way since the 1940’s, so no reliable and really effective cleaning process existed! OUR PROCESS

Our patent pending process includes three proprietary components: our zrlifter™, our patent pending Powered Water™ and our patent pending zrwand™. Combined, these create a Zero Residue™ clean that means, no
crunchy carpet, no sticky fibers, no harsh detergents or toxic chemicals, no reappearing spots, no residue-laden carpets, eliminated pet odors, safer living space and fast dry times.

zrlifter™ – It all starts with a “green,” non-toxic pre-spray, followed by an agitation tool—the zrlifter™—which uses counter-rotating brushes to dislodge hair, dead skin, allergens and deeply embedded dirt from the carpet fibers that conventional vacuuming does not remove.

Powered Water® – Powered Water® is an electrolyzed cleaning fluid created by a process that begins with softened water (minerals removed) that is combined with an electrolyte and then passed through a proprietary membrane, which separates the water molecules into a high pH cleaning fluid. Powered Water® acts like a detergent without side effects of toxic chemical additives, by breaking down oils and soiling in the carpet fiber. Your carpets are safer because Powered Water® does not add toxic chemicals to your carpets.

zrwand™ – Our patent-pending zrwand™ thoroughly rinses the carpet fibers with our Powered Water® through a fluid-controlled process, effectively removing hard-to-reach dirt and debris without flooding the carpet’s backing and pad. We’re able to recover virtually all the water from your carpets. The result is a more complete clean with significantly improved dry times.
