Jellystone Campgrounds was founded in 1969 and began franchising that same year. After a series of acquisitions and a name change, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts is now owned by Park River Corp. The private company, based in Milford, Ohio, has locations throughout the United States and Canada.
