Dr. Edward Thalheimer opened his first after-school learning center in Ventury County, California, in 1994. Franchising of The Tutoring Center began in 2005. Each center offers potential clients a free diagnostic assessment to determine a child’s strengths and weaknesses and areas in need of improvement.

Tutoring methods focus on one-on-one instruction and the company’s trademarked “Rotational Approach to Learning,” first developed to help children with attention and behavior problems improve their concentration and academic performance.

The Rotational Approach To Learning®

A key to our success, The Rotational Approach To Learning® was first developed with the goal of helping children with attentional, behavioral and learning disabilities like ADD and ADHD. Research has shown that all students who learned in 30- and two 15-minute increments in different locations with different sets of materials and two instructors dramatically maximized their academic performance and concentration.
