After founding Bishop Building Services, a janitorial company, Daniel J. Bishop, a self-made entrepreneurial success before the age of 21, brought his cleaning business experience to the residential arena with The Maids in 1979. Four-person cleaning teams arrive at clients’ homes in the company’s distinctive yellow cars to dust, vacuum and clean kitchens and bathrooms using the company’s 22-Step Healthy ,Touch Deep Cleaning System.

The Maids focused on bringing residential deep cleaning to everyone.

The Maids International is the corporate office of The Maids, a premier residential cleaning franchise company in the U.S. and Canada. The Maids is a quality leader among the many cleaning companies in the industry, with more than 150 franchise partners serving over 90 major U.S. and Canadian cities. The Maids offices can be found in over 40 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces.
