About Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc.

Checkers Drive-In Restaurants got its start in 1986 in Mobile, Alabama. A year earlier, Rally’s Drive-In had opened its first restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1999, the two concepts merged into a single double drive-thru burger chain. In addition to burgers, the restaurants serve chicken, fish, hot dogs, fries, and desserts.
