Our Story
Our story started in 1989, building 1-800-GOT-JUNK? into the world’s largest junk removal company. The Wall Street Journal said we’d be sure to put trucks on the moon, and that’s why we’re nearly sold out! But we’ve got better news: we scaled up and launched two more brands, WOW 1 DAY PAINTING and Shack Shine, to continue disrupting the $100 billion-a-year home services industry with a model that works. In fact, these two brands are growing at an even faster rate than 1-800-GOT-JUNK?!
Together, these three companies are O2E Brands – making the ‘ordinary’ business of home services ‘exceptional’. Over 30 years we’ve created a ton of millionaires through franchising, and we’re not slowing down.
In an effort to pay for school, Brian Scudamore bought an old pick-up truck to haul junk. But he didn’t choose the junk removal industry by accident: he identified a fragmented space and decided he wanted to create a household name. The business took off, and Brian never looked back — he built a network of franchises across North America that have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs live their dreams of business ownership.
